He signed off his email by stating, and I quote, “if this is how you’re going to be I suggest you find an alternative venue.” The high level of disrespect towards me, as a paying customer is shocking. Bob suggested I ‘stop emailing him’ and my request was being dealt with elsewhere, besides all contact being with Bob himself. The Monday came, I heard nothing from Pier Nine so I decided to email the manager, Bob, who I had previously been conversing with. Bob informed me that they would come back to me first as I’d previously shown interest in booking there prior to the quarter finals. During this time I was ensured that no one else would be booking a table for this date until that Monday. I requested to book another table in the fanzone area to watch the final and was asked by Bob to ‘hold on until the Monday’ as that’s when they (pier nine) go through all the requests and sort out bookings.
The following day the booking was cancelled, with a refunded deposit no reasoning as to why or a solution to where else I could possibly sit. I requested to book a table for the football on 11/07/21 and paid a reasonable deposit. My recent contact with Pier Nine has been wholeheartedly disappointing.
